Steps to Home Ownership

1. Complete a personal financial assessment with our preferred Independent Financial Advisor.

2. Using this advice, discuss your needs with our professional Sales Advisor who will give you realistic and practical advice on locations, house-types, rental values and letting demand.

3. When you have decided which home best suits your needs, you will complete a reservation form and provide the non-refundable reservation fee and complete your mortgage application.

4. You can select to use our recommended panel solicitor who has been specially chosen because of their experience in dealing with Forces purchases abroad. They will require immediate instruction and payment of the Local Authority search fee.

5. Our Sales Advisors will keep you fully informed on your mortgage and legal progress through to exchange of contracts which should take place 28 days later.

6. Once you have exchanged contracts, you are legally committed to complete the purchase and we are legally committed to sell it to you. Between exchange and legal completion, we will assist you in finding a suitable tenant through a specialist local letting agency if you intend to let out the property.

7. Prior to legal completion, you will be invited to a Customer Handover Demonstration or if not available, this can be carried out with your nominated representative (or letting agent if on behalf of an incoming tenant).

8. Your solicitor will provide you with a final account prior to legal completion to explain any monies due.

9. Welcome to your new home!
